Our Projects

AEFI is implementing, supporting, and assisting with a range of projects focused on conserving threatened species and their habitats. This includes exciting projects like breeding the Eastern Quoll for eventual species recovery and reintroduction into the wild, and working with project partners to conserve the Mountain Pygmy-possum. The Foundation is also undertaking research to inform mangement of a variety of species, in addition to undertaking direct management and rehabilitation of habitats. We also play a vital role in offering educational experiences to the general public, to students and to volunteers.
